About
I am a professional game designer that has worked for some of the biggest names in the industry. I’m comfortable in large outfits, having worked on teams numbering nearly three hundred folks of varying disciplines, and smaller outfits ranging from four to forty.
I am a veteran developer, having shipped many titles with many different budgets on many different platforms. My passion is not just about playing games or making them, but about constantly striving to grow my skills, pursue my craft, and seek out others in my tribe. I’m all about process and culture, but I’m also about grounded, practical design that starts with a bit of thoughtfulness, proceeds onto as many playtests and iterations as possible, and finally delivered on time, even if it means limiting scope.
I’ve worn many hats over the years: Creative Lead, Feature Owner, Lead Designer, Team Lead, Technical Designer, Content Consultant, Content Monkey, and QA. In each role, I tried my hardest to be what my colleagues and my organization needed me to be.
On my site, you’ll find my work curriculum, personal projects, and maybe even a few blog posts about game design. Every project posted here was a learning experienced that helped to shape who I am as a professional.
